For a return to school...  

...more ECOLOGICAL.  

 WE ARE just a few weeks away from the start of the new school year and in AlmaEko We want to make going back to school very special and exciting by proposing a challenge to you: how about embarking on an adventure in which you will be the superhero/superheroine who saves our planet from the alien threat that uses plastic as an invading element ?  

 Our superhero/superheroine has a difficult task ahead of him/her, and , as in any adventure , he/she faces it with optimism for victory; he/she will surely find many sustainable solutions to take better care of our environment and banish plastic and all its derivatives from our lives.  

To achieve this we must be consistent in our daily actions; any gesture, however small it may seem, has extraordinary value in building a sustainable future, but we have to start "creating" it with new habits that have green as the goal of all our actions and start now; today rather than tomorrow.  

To do this, you must start each day by stimulating your fighting spirit in environmental defense and after a good breakfast -don't forget that it is the most important meal of the day-, your first eco-sustainable action comes: save water ( which is a limited resource ) by turning off the tap while you brush your teeth. Afterwards, you will surely prepare your backpack and there you have to evaluate several opportunities to improve your more sustainable habits by collaborating with the protection of our environment: check pens, notebooks, and in general, any other material from last year that is in good condition and use it; it is not necessary to brand new everything . Remember that reusing is another way of being eco-sustainable and protecting the environment by reducing the unnecessary consumption of resources destined to produce new "consumables".  

You just have to consider a couple more actions before closing your backpack; you will surely carry a bottle of water and a " you p per " for the fruit . (probably both made of plastic) or a sandwich wrapped in cling film or aluminium foil . You know : plastic, nooo , please! Replace the water bottle with a thermos that will keep it fresh and the " tupperware " with a classic reusable lunch box or a modern snack holder , which are made of natural fibres or beeswax or plastic-free composite materials, while the thermos is usually made of steel or aluminium on its outer surface with an intermediate layer of thermodynamic material that insulates and protects the inner glass bottle. If you take just a little care of them, these products will last you many, many years ...  

Your backpack is now ready, and if you have been careful enough, it will be the same as last year .  

  Today you have taken your first eco-sustainable actions , you have begun to modify some of your habits and your changes have a high value in terms of the protection and defense of our environment.
