Holy Lama products are made with natural ingredients, avoiding the use of harsh or synthetic chemicals. Whenever possible, we use sustainable materials for packaging. During manufacturing, less than 1% waste occurs, and all waste is used as fuel or feed for livestock, therefore our carbon input is exceptionally low.
The raw materials used for manufacturing come primarily from local farmers in Kerala and the rest of India, building on more than seven decades of well-established relationships with farmers. The company operates on a no credit principle, which means that all farmers and raw material suppliers receive immediate payment. The factory pays fair wages to staff and fair prices to farmers.
Women's company.
Holy Lama Naturals is recognized in Kerala as a government approved company, where more than 80% of the workers are women. Most come from disadvantaged backgrounds (i.e. widows or abandoned by their partner).
