FEATURES
The ESSENCE black menstrual brief by Cocoro, with a gray waist, is classic and simple cut.
They are very comfortable and breathable, since they adapt perfectly to the body and collect regular menstruation, vaginal discharge or slight urine losses effectively.
The bridge is made up of 4 layers:
- An outer layer: 80% cotton and 20% elastane.
- Two intermediate layers: 100% polyester. They are what make the product waterproof, with good absorbency and also breathable.
- Other inner layer (in contact with the body): 100% organic cotton.
The waistband is made of 70% polyamide and 30% elastane. They are materials derived from petroleum, but necessary to achieve a comfortable and precise fit.
The absorbent zone is 1.5 mm thick. It does not swell when absorbing menstruation, so they are comfortable and pleasant to the touch.
Being an intimate hygiene product, returns are not allowed. Read the full description to check the size guide.
HOW TO USE
The time of use of a menstrual brief will depend on different factors such as the amount of flow or the combination with other elements of menstrual hygiene, such as the cup.
During days of low menstrual flow, the panties can be worn comfortably throughout the day. During the days when the flow is more abundant, you will probably prefer to change once or twice in the same day.
If you combine the panties with the menstrual cup, as a panty liner, you can use them throughout the day.
These panties can also be used to hold back vaginal discharge and slight urine leakage.
They can be washed by hand and machine. When you take them off, we recommend that you wet them with cold water and drain, removing much of the blood and letting them soak until you put them in the washing machine.
They should be washed at a maximum of 30º so that the interior technical fabric does not deteriorate.
It is not recommended to use bleach or fabric softener, since the fabric will be in contact with mucous membranes, or Marseille-type soaps, based on natural oils, since they can waterproof the fabrics and reduce absorbency. It is also not recommended to tumble dry or iron, as it can damage fabrics.
After 60 washes, absorbent and waterproof technical fabrics could start to lose some effectiveness, which does not mean that they cannot continue to be used as normal panties.
ENVIRONMENTAL CARE
Menstrual panties are a much more sustainable alternative to conventional disposable pads or tampons. They are reusable, withstanding more than 60 washes, if the product care instructions are followed.
