The black MESH PLUS menstrual brief from Cocoro is classic cut, with a decorative mesh waistband that adapts comfortably to the body.
They are very comfortable and breathable, since they adapt perfectly to the body and effectively collect heavy menstruation, vaginal discharge or slight urine losses.
The bridge consists of 4 layers:
- An outer layer: 93% organic cotton and 7% elastane.
- Two intermediate layers: natural fibers and polyester. They are what make the product waterproof, with good absorbency and also breathable.
- Other inner layer (in contact with the body): 100% organic cotton.
The waistband is made of 85% polyamide and 15% elastane. They are materials derived from petroleum, but necessary to achieve a comfortable and precise fit.
The absorbent area is 2.5 mm thick and is longer at the front and at the back than other Cocoro models. It does not swell when absorbing menstruation, so they are comfortable and pleasant to the touch.
Being an intimate hygiene product, returns are not allowed. Read the full description to check the size guide.
HOW TO USE
The time of use of a menstrual brief will depend on different factors such as the amount of flow or the combination with other elements of menstrual hygiene, such as the cup.
During days of low menstrual flow, the panties can be worn comfortably throughout the day. During the days when the flow is more abundant, you will probably prefer to change once or twice in the same day.
If you combine the panties with the menstrual cup, as a panty liner, you can use them throughout the day.
These panties can also be used to hold back vaginal discharge and slight urine leakage.
They can be washed by hand and machine. When you take them off, we recommend that you wet them with cold water and drain, removing much of the blood and letting them soak until you put them in the washing machine.
They should be washed at a maximum of 30º so that the interior technical fabric does not deteriorate.
It is not recommended to use bleach or fabric softener, since the fabric will be in contact with mucous membranes, or Marseille-type soaps, based on natural oils, since they can waterproof the fabrics and reduce absorbency. It is also not recommended to tumble dry or iron, as it can damage fabrics.
After 60 washes, absorbent and waterproof technical fabrics could start to lose some effectiveness, which does not mean that they cannot continue to be used as normal panties.
All cotton used in this product is Organic
Menstrual panties are a much more sustainable alternative to conventional disposable pads or tampons. They are reusable, withstanding more than 60 washes, if the product care instructions are followed.
