The ESSENCE black menstrual panty model from Cocoro, with a pink waistband, has a classic and simple cut.
They are very comfortable and breathable , as they adapt perfectly to the body and effectively collect regular menstruation, vaginal discharge or slight urine loss .
The bridge is made up of 4 layers :
- Outer layer: 80% cotton and 20% spandex.
- Two middle layers: 100% polyester. These make the product waterproof, with good absorbency and also breathable.
- Other inner layer (in contact with the body): 100% organic cotton
The absorbent area is 1.5 mm thick . It does not swell when absorbing menstrual fluid, making it comfortable, pleasant to the touch and breathable.
The waistband is made of 70% polyamide and 30% elastane . These are petroleum-derived materials, but necessary for a comfortable and precise fit .

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
The length of time a menstrual panty can be worn will depend on different factors such as the amount of flow or the combination with other menstrual hygiene elements , such as the cup.
During days when your flow is light, your panties can be worn comfortably all day. During days when your flow is heavier, you may prefer to change them once or twice a day.
If you combine the panties with the menstrual cup , as a panty liner, you can use them all day long.
These panties can also be used to retain vaginal discharge and light urine leakage .
They can be washed by hand or machine . When you take them off, we recommend that you wet them with cold water and wring them out, removing much of the blood and leaving them to soak until you put them in the washing machine.
They should be washed at a maximum of 30º so that the technical fabric inside does not deteriorate.
It is not recommended to use bleach or fabric softener , since the fabric will be in contact with mucous membranes, nor Marseille-type soaps, based on natural oils , since they can waterproof the fabric and reduce absorbency. It is also not recommended to use a dryer or iron, since they can damage the fabric.
After 60 washes , technical, absorbent and waterproof fabrics may begin to lose some of their effectiveness, but this does not mean that they cannot continue to be used as normal underwear.

Menstrual panties are a much more sustainable alternative to conventional disposable pads or tampons . They are reusable , withstanding more than 60 washes, if the product care instructions are followed.

Our standard delivery service to the Iberian Peninsula usually arrives within 48 business hours (in 95% of cases!). If you're not at the delivery address, no problem: it will be left at a collection point very close to you , and you'll receive an email with all the information to pick it up at your convenience.
Normally, if you place your order before 2 PM from Monday to Thursday, it will ship that same day.
Orders placed from Friday afternoon to Monday morning will be shipped on Monday afternoon.
If you need it urgently and want to receive it before 2 p.m. the next day (Only available in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands), you can select express shipping on the payment screen.
We like to keep track of every delivery : if we notice any delay, we'll contact you right away (although it's almost never necessary 😉).
