Rediscover Luffa : The Natural Secret to a More Sustainable Home

In a world flooded with plastics and synthetic products, loofah is emerging as a natural and surprisingly effective solution for your daily routine. Did you know that this versatile plant is not only biodegradable but can also contribute to improving your health and that of the planet?

What is Luffa and what is it used for ?

The luffa is a tropical climbing plant, native to Asia, which is also cultivated in some regions of Spain , such as Galicia . It belongs to the Cucurbitaceae family, has yellow flowers similar to those of pumpkins, cucumbers or zucchini, with a height that can reach more than 15 meters and its fruits between 20 and 30 centimeters. These When they mature, they transform into a fibrous and resistant structure that can be used in many ways:

.- Sponges and Exfoliants: Ideal for bathing, loofah sponges help exfoliate the skin, removing dead cells and promoting cell regeneration.

.- Used dry, it improves acne and reduces blackheads, while a massage with a wet loofah activates microcirculation, preventing and improving cellulite.

.- Kitchen Scourers: They're perfect for cleaning dishes, cutlery, and even glassware without scratching them. You can also use them on delicate surfaces like glass-ceramic or induction cooktops.

Why choose Luffa instead of plastic ?
