TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Purpose and Scope of Application

These terms and conditions govern access to, navigation on, and use of the website www.almaeko.com, as well as the purchase of products through it. By placing an order, the user declares that they are of legal age (or have legal authorization) and that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these terms without reservation.

These terms apply to all transactions carried out on this website and prevail over any other agreement, promise, communication, or prior or simultaneous documentation.

2. Purchase Process

The sales contract is considered finalized once Alma Eko sends the order shipment confirmation. The mere confirmation of order receipt does not yet constitute acceptance.

If one or more products are unavailable after an order has been placed, Alma Eko reserves the right to cancel the affected items, notifying the customer by email and refunding the corresponding amounts, where applicable.

3. Delivery and Shipping

Orders will only be shipped to the areas enabled for delivery. Currently, Alma Eko ships to:

  • Mainland Spain and mainland Portugal: 48–72 working hours.

  • Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, and Europe: please consult the specific conditions in our Shipping Policy.

  • Local pickup: available at Papelería David (Rivas-Vaciamadrid) from the next working day after purchase.

Standard deliveries are made via GLS. In case of contingency, Correos may be used as an alternative carrier.

Delivery times are estimated and may be affected by public holidays, high demand periods, or exceptional circumstances. Alma Eko is not responsible for delays beyond its control.

4. Prices and Shipping Costs

All prices include the legally applicable VAT.
Shipping costs are shown during the checkout process and may vary depending on the destination, volume, and weight of the order.

Indicative examples:

  • Local pickup in Rivas-Vaciamadrid: Free

  • Mainland Spain: €5 (free for orders over €50)

  • Balearic Islands: €8 (free for orders over €70)

  • Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla: €15 (orders over €150 → €25)

  • Mainland Portugal: €12

  • Europe: between €12 and €25 depending on the destination country (see full list)

Any additional charges arising from customs duties or import taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.

5. Payment Methods

Alma Eko offers multiple secure payment methods, processed through encrypted gateways using SSL protocol:

  • Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express)

  • PayPal

  • Bank transfer

  • Klarna (3 interest-free instalments)

  • Bizum (via MONEI)

  • Amazon Pay / Apple Pay / Google Pay

Banking data are never stored on Alma Eko’s servers.

6. Returns and Exchanges

Customers have a legal period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the order to return a product, provided that:

  • It is unused, with the original seal intact and packaging in perfect condition.

  • The return is previously communicated to info@almaeko.com.

  • The product is not excluded from the right of withdrawal for health or hygiene reasons.

Exclusions (non-refundable for hygiene reasons):

  • Personal care products (toothbrushes, sponges, opened soaps, unsealed cosmetics, etc.)

  • Food products or perishable items with a short expiry date.

  • Opened, used, or unsealed products without their original packaging.

Costs:

  • If the return is not due to Alma Eko’s fault (e.g., customer error, change of mind), the customer will cover the return shipping costs.

  • If the return is due to an error by Alma Eko (defective or incorrect item), Alma Eko will cover the shipping costs and arrange collection.

  • Refunds will be processed within a maximum of 14 business days after the returned product has been received and verified.

7. Security and Data Protection

This website is protected with SSL encryption and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018.

8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law.
In the event of a dispute, both parties submit to the courts and tribunals of the consumer’s place of residence or, failing that, to those of Madrid (Spain).
