¿Quién soy?

Who am I?

WHO AM I?

Hello everyone , as you may know , AlmaEko has changed owners. My name is Virginia, although all my family and friends call me Vir. I am the mother of two “girls”, one who can now exercise her right to vote and the other who is in that “wonderful” stage called adolescence.

I live on the outskirts of the capital , although we have been on the verge of moving abroad several times. I have always been held back by the desire to be close to my parents, siblings and my 6 nephews, although I dream of living in the countryside with a vegetable garden looked after by my husband and lots of animals that I would take care of myself (I am a “bug-loving” to the max).

I studied Law, although I soon realized that it was not for me since what I really liked was being a TCP (what was formerly called a Flight Attendant). I also trained as a Ground Stewardess, Congresses and Exhibitions; I love traveling and getting to know new places and cultures, crafts and handicrafts, reading and musicals.

It’s been many years since I started to change my lifestyle, gradually introducing it to the family, a loofah sponge here, a solid deodorant there, every time a plastic tupperware broke I would bring a glass one into the house, reusing plastic bags until they broke into a thousand pieces… before it was very difficult to find sustainable substitutes until I discovered AlmaEko, which was my salvation, so when Stella suggested it to me, we didn’t hesitate to embark on this journey despite our ignorance about how to run a little shop (we are learning by forced marches, hahaha ), we believe so much that a small change in each house makes so much that we hope to earn your trust so that this project can continue, we are going to give (we are giving) 200%.

That said, now I would like you to tell me what you expect from AlmaEko , what you miss, if you want to see something in particular, if there are many of you I will try to manage it.

Finally, I would like to ask for your forgiveness for the mistakes I will surely make and to have a little patience with me. When you get to know me a little better, you will see that I am the most demanding person with myself (something I am trying to correct).

I hope to see you here soon ( I'll take a roll call ;-) )
